There are a number of anticipated contests set to take place on the fight card itself, with a number of different weight classes on show during the night.

The main event will be a Heavyweight clash between the #4 and #9 contenders in the division, so it should promise to be a hard-hitting contest.

In the main event Blaydes (15-3-0) faces Daukaus (12-4-0) in the first domestic Fight Night in front of a large crowd since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. Both men are looking to the fight as an opportunity to stay in title contention, and a win here is critical in the uncertain heavyweight division.

A win over him, hopefully a finish over him, that keeps me in title contention,” Blaydes told MMA Junkie. “We don’t known what’s going on with Stipe, Jon, Gane, Ngannou – there’s a lot of stagnation. I’m really just trying to maintain my position.
